I had an interesting an lively discussion at the workshop of CEOs organized by Arthur Hunt and the Czech-german Chamber of Commerce. From my own experience, managing multifunctional team of great professionals, a clearly defined VISION and WHY (purpose) of what we strive to accomplish not only connects the team but also brings other multiple benefits such as ... 1. Higher motivation while having a meaning to work, 2. Driving innovation, 3. Accelerated decision making, 4. Empowerment, 5. Strength and Resilience in hard times, and surprisingly, even 5. Improved customer retention. Easy to set and maintain? Not at all! It requires a clear definition of the VISION and the WHY, further training programs, workshops and recognition system to reinforce it. But what is the most important to this is that you have to live by it every day, every interaction - both internal as well as external, from the top down, from the bottom up, and across ... and you have to be consistent. www.andymazan.pro
